Hello! My name is Kelly McGuire. I'm the school social worker and behavior interventionist at CS Porter Middle School. I have worked in the social services field for 20 years, mostly in public health and the justice system. I collaborate with students, teachers, and families to provide targeted interventions, advocate for student needs, and promote positive behavioral strategies to help students succeed academically and personally.

I grew up all over the world as an Air Force kid and graduated from high school and college in Fairbanks, Alaska. I moved to Missoula in 2008 for graduate school and never left. Outside school, you'll find me camping with my husband and stepson and two neurotic rescue dogs, Olympic weightlifting, curling at the ice rink, or working on my native plant garden (30+ species and counting!).
