• Well, hello there! I don't always have the pleasure of meeting all my students and their family/families prior to the start of each school year, so I'd like to welcome all of you to Paxson Elementary School. I'm so happy you could join us in your educational journey.

    For those of you who don't already know me, I was born in Missoula, Montana but frequently moved around as a young child. I returned to Montana in 1991 and have been here ever since. I graduated with honors from Sentinel High School in 2000. Afterwards, I moved onto college and attended school at the University of Montana. I graduated with my BS in Elementary Education in 2004 and my MA in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K through 3rd grade focus) in 2022. I am very proud of myself for continuing my education and I strive to learn and grow as and educator every day.

    Being a teacher is a large part of my life. I delight in getting to spend time with your children throughout the school year. I get to watch them learn and grow and see them achieve what they once thought impossible. Every feat is a celebration, no matter how big or small!

    Beyond being a teacher, I am a wife and a mother of two girls. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling everywhere and anywhere, crisp fall days, exploring the outdoors, gardening, board games, concerts, sports (mostly watching nowadays), a stellar cup of coffee (or five) in the morning, and mind-blowing, amazing food. Honestly, there is so much, I don't think I can list it all. I feel blessed to be here and try to treasure every moment.
